Ok so I've done a lot of searching and thought I had the right type of transmission I'd that'* in my 2002 Buick LeSabre Custom edition. I thought it was a 4T65E with a 2.86 Axel ratio. But today when I went to the website to look at see if a certain type if car is compatible with this transmission I couldn't find the Id list. So now I'm second guessing what I have in my vehicle. Can someone please share what they think as well as any vehicle that will interchange with my vehicle . thank u in advance! 😊

I believe you are correct about the transmission however.

Well, obviously, it is a 4T65E tranny....the only question is the gear ratio.....that can easily be checked by reading the option code on the SPID label....

There is an ID plate on the tranny, that can be used to get the correct tranny.....

Do u happen to know if a transmission from a 2001malibu will fit in my 2002 Buick LeSabre custom edition. They r both the 4T65E model but I'm uncertain if it'll interchange
