Are you sure its shifting? I never seen the RPM'* drop from 2000RPM. It seems like you were stalling out the TQ at its stall and it never dropped from it. I think your PCM is commanding limp home mode.

I don't remember if you checked or not, but are you getting 12+ on your shift solenoid wires on the trans harness?

It does definitely shift from 2-3 and back, as I can manually select those gears also.

Finally broke down and took her to the shop.... They found that the voltage regulator is over charging and causing a limp condition.

Once home from vacation a new alternator is on the list.
