2014 Encore'* front tires were both low on air (27 - 2 according to my DIC. I found a gas station, put air in both front tires, tested with a pressure guage, but the notification stays on and will not shut off. I have pressed the reset button, menu button, but still unable to remove the message. Also it is still telling me the pressure in the front tires are still 27 and 28. I am unable to find anything about this problem in my manual.
Will it be necessary for me to bring the vehicle to my dealer?

Yes, I am still under warranty, but was hoping there was a quick fix I could do myself, rather than having my vehicle hung up at the dealership for who knows how long.. Guess I will need to take it in.

So I went by the dealership today, and to my surprise they had me underway within 5 minutes. It was not a problem I could have fixed without the tool that resets the sensor. Live and learn...

Since the monitor showed the front tires low, and you added air pressure and they were still low, methinks you had a tire rotation, and the tire pressure sensors were not relearned, what you were reading as the fronts, may have been in the back.....

You can manually relearn sensor positions, without the GM tool.....the procedure is in your owner'* manual....

Tech II..My tires were rotated about 5 months ago during an oil change, and they may not have relearned them at that time..?? I did look in the manual and it states for me to use the "tool" and advises where to put it to relearn the tires if the pressure reading is not correct. Thanks.. all fixed now
