I got a 93 buick lasabre the brake light came on and a ding came on while driving. What can i do or what should i check for?

First thing to do is check the level of the brake fluid in the master cylinder reservoir, if you're not familiar with it, it'* mounted on the driver'* side of the firewall, the cap should be clearly marked. If it'* low top off with DOT approved 3 or 4 brake fluid until you can get it to a shop and have it checked out for leaks.
