Any one used this ? Supposed to be GM approved , they are out of the AC Delco at the present time is the reason I ask . TheReaper!

As I understand it, that is actually the current go-to for Dexron 6. The consensus has been that the requirements for Dex 6 are regulated currently by GM, so in order for them to call it that, it must meet standard, which the standards for Dex 6 are so high it'* an upgrade no matter which way you slice it.

Go for it, and keep going for it as long as GM backs the Dexron 6 standard.

I tend to avoid the Dex/Merc stuff because it is no longer regulated, so manufacturers can do anything they want to it and call it anything they want.

I use it, no issues.
Like rjolly87 said, it must meet GM requirements, or they can't call it Dexron 6

Just make sure you figure out a way to keep it upright wherever you store it. I threw it in my trunk after topping off my tranny fluid and it likes to slowly leak around the cap if layed on it'* side. and i swear the cap is as tight as it'll go!

Thanks guys ! I just ordered a bunch cuzz we have 4 more cars to flush . Walmart will deliver it to my front free of charge , so I don't have to do any schlepping . 48 quarts is a lot of schlepping . By the way I just flushed the 98 leSabre I just picked up with 33,000 miles on it , the car runs so smooth that I can barely feel it shift . After doing the flush , I took it for a little test run and it was so smooth I thought some thing was wrong with it . I had to turn the radio off to pay closer attention to the shifting . Thanks again for the input . TheReaper!

I have noticed similar smoothness with brand new fluid in my vehicles. It should settle in within a few days.
