Default Steering Wheel Control Lights, 3/4 out

Hi, I am a new member. How common is it for the steering wheel control lights going out? The buttons there control radio volume and station seek, fan and temp setting, cruise control, etc. There are 4 sets of 2 toggle switches. The lights are all out except for upper left quadrant. They look like they will just pop-out for replacement. Are they expensive, and how long are they expected to last? If not too long, then why bother to replace? Thanks.

I think the switches easily pop-out. I am just wondering if they burn-out quickly, might not be worth the time or money?
