Default Seat Swap

I’m brand-spanking new to the forum, and need some assistance.
My son has a 93 Buick Century and his bench seat has seen better days. If we go the route of replacing it, what years and models would be the easiest change-over? It’* a manual seat, so I’m sure that would make a difference.
Thank you for any and all responses!

All of these cars shared the same platform as your son'* 1993 Century:

1982-1996 Buick Century
1982-1990 Chevrolet Celebrity
1982-1996 Oldsmobile Cutlass
1982-1991 Pontiac 6000

Some have different options, and I think a few bucket and split-bench options were in there. I haven't seen many of these on the roads in the last decade or so, and even if I had, their driver'* seats are probably all in bad shape by now, so it will probably be slim pickings. If it were me, if I couldn't find one in a few days of searching, I'd just take it to an upholsterer.

Welcome aboard!

Thank you so much! I had a feeling there weren’t too many of these running around, especially in rural Iowa but this gives me a place to start.

Keep in mind any seats that have controls or recline levers on the side, are not compatible with 1990 and later cars. They had to move the controls to the front of the seat to keep from interfering with the protruding seat belts on the doors.
