Default Road Master on eBay

Maintenance $$$$$$$$$$

This is a auction for a Road Master like the one I picked up a while back but with more miles . If you go through the pictures you’ll see a copy of a bill the guy paid for some repairs / maintenance . So far the bids he'* gotten won't pay for the repairs .

1995 Buick Roadmaster Limited Sedan 4-Door

Amazing what repairing a car can cost if you can't fix some of these things yourself .

I am sorry to say, but he got absolutely raped on repairs, not only with what all was done, but what was billed for said work. I think it'* interesting how much better the Roadmasters are holding their value then the flagship Park Avenue.

I lost track of how many people asked me if I was interested in selling my RM . It only had 27,000 miles on it when I got it and it was a one owner and for $5,000 , so comparatively speaking it was a pretty good deal . At the time sellers were asking double what I paid for mine with more miles on them . So far I replace the AC , battery , alternator and serpentine belt . The only thing that it really needed other than the AC do over was the battery , I replace the serpentine belt because it was original, the alternator was iffy but still working OK but winter was coming so I replaced it too . Over all it'* a nice ride and it'* been very reliable .

I wondered about those part prices, and if they were GM parts for those amounts.

The description of the complaint for which it was brought it sounds a lot like it was run hot with a cooling system issue. Good thing the big car LT1'* have iron heads.

Does look like a nice car, except for the rust.

I really wanted a RM when we bought our '96 Century, but we already had a big, rear drive car. The Century was a bargain too, though I knew the '96 RM was going to be a 'classic'.
