Default Rear window stopped working 98 LeSabre

1998 LeSabre 33,000 miles . All of a sudden rear driver side window will not work , presently up all the way . All window worked a couple of months ago when I bought it . The rear passenger window works fine up and down , and the child safety lock works on the passenger rear window . When in the drivers seat when I click the drivers control for the rear driver side window , I hear a slight single click from inside the rear driver side door .

Any ideas ? TheReaper!

First thing I would do is get inside by removing the door panel, partially remove the water barrier, and disconnect harness to the motor....attach a test light to the harness, and operate the driver'* switch and the door switch up/down.....light should light in both directions......

If it does, check the cable for the regulator....if ok, need motor....

First thank you kindly for the response . When no one responded I took a gamble and ordered a new motor from Rock Auto which came yesterday ($23 and change) . I installed it only took an hour from start to finish , and that'* all it was was the motor working fine .......for now ? These Buick'* have their inside the door'* problems , good thing there are so many after market players .

I think I've paid someone'* salary for a few months at RockAuto with as much stuff as I've purchased from them over the past 2 years. I am really glad I found out about them!
Glad you got your window to work again.
