i thought you meant the rear control arms were done. i am thinking its that and or the sway bar bracket. probably have to get the bushings and you could have them changed by a shop.

well the control arm bushings might be fun to find. i dont even list the control arms at work. art- does you're fsm have a part# i could cross?

No part # in FSM but Rock Auto list them- rear LCA bushings as :
ACDELCO Part # 46G11089A More Info {#88877020} Advantage $10.72 ea.
Also Edit: They also list MEVOTECH Part # MK6580 (supreme)
& MEVOTECH Part # GK6580 Original Grade

thanks art. i actually found them at work... gotta order them from Delaware warehouse :/ i was hoping to take a look at them before i bought them. any idea on if they can be knocked out in a vice? im sure i could pound them back in with a dead blow... they dont look like they are pressed in with how thin the metal looks. this may be a dumb question. but do the springs need compressed? i dont wanna be the idiot who unbolts the control arm and has a spring fly across the room and kill someone, so i figured i would ask. lol

I have not done my LCA rear bushings but when they may need replacing, I have access to a 15 ton press, so anything else is questionable.
Ya you better have a spring compressor on there if you intend on removing the LCA.
You don't want to damage the LCA, so I would have the old ones pressed out and the new ones pressed in properly.
Any decent shop with a press should be able to do this for a nominal fee.

i think with this setup you would compress it and decompress it with a jack under the control arm, somewhere solid that isnt going to slip or let the jack fall sideways.

thanks alot for that info art, good to know i wont need a compressor, and that i wont die. lol. i really hope its just the bushings. going to replace those, the sway bar links and the body mounts back there (since i still have 2 from when i did the front, 2 of them weren't bad) if that fixes it all the car will need is a rack seal. and after the t-case seal i did on a jeep a few weeks ago, i am more than confident i can do that no problems at all. after all thats done, this car will effectively have an entirely new suspension. just redoing the front end, it feels as tight as the day it was new. atleast i know ill have the entire friggin suspension in warranty after this. LOL
