Question Power window not rolling up, but rolls down

Hello, I need help, I don't know which one i should replace anymore, nor what to do to my car. I drive a 2006 Buick Lucerne CXS 4.6L V8. I have replaced the window motor (this is in the Front-Driver-side window that needs fixing).

I'd very much appreciate the help

We're going to need some more information.

- I gather you have replaced the window motor for the driver'* side front window. Is this correct?
- How was the bad window motor diagnosed?
- Is there a small click sound when window movement is attempted?

Is this the reason you replaced the motor? Did you test the switch?

What did you bypass and how did you bypass it?

It would probably be a good idea to replace the switch. If it turns out that the switch isn't the problem, keep it around anyways as a spare.

Like for the drain plug?

Looking around online, it looks like 18lbft for the drain plug, and 20lbft for the filter.

Personally, I do tight but not Methuselah tight on the drain plug and about a half turn past gasket contact on the filter . . . but if you don't have a good feel for this then best to go by the numbers.
