Question Park Ave 1991 Body Control Module

Hi, I have bought 91 Park Ave, but without original remote keys. After some mouths I found and bought second Park Ave 92 only for spare parts with 2 original remote keys. I tried pair them with my 91 Park Ave, but i couldnt pair it. I was in pairing mode, but after pressing LOCK or UNLOCK buttons nothing happend. Then I tried replace BCM brom 92 to my 91 Park Ave. I tried pair it again and pairing was successful. But after 2 days something happend, and BCM from 92 Buick has stopped working, (keyless entry, interiror illumination, power seats, security light wasnt working)

Body control moduls have different part numbers:

25536705 from 91 PA (There is 1990 year on microcontroller inside BCM) - everything is working with this BCM, but I cant pair keys from 92 PA. I would like to know, if the problem should be with receiver or keys from 92 are incompatibile with this BCM. I found on some forum, that every BCM has own remote key series. So, if someone has BCM with this part number or know which remote keys are compatibile, please let me know.

25615095 from 92 PA (There is 1992 year on microcontroller inside BCM) - This BCM was from spare car with remote keys. Everything worked for 2 days, then it stopped working (keyless entry, interior illumination, power seats, security light wasnt working). I checked all fuses, all were good.

I switched to BCM from 91 and interrior illumination and other stuff was working.

I have also found that there were a lot of different part numbers for BCMs.

I would be happy if you will help me with finding compatibile remote keys, or BCM.

You can also recommend me websites like ebay, where should I find car parts. Or maybe someone of you is selling parts.

And sorry for my English, I am from Slovakia (middle Europe) so my PA is Europian version.

Best greetings from Slovakia.

It was fine for two days? How much driving did you do in that time?

You dont have a BCM you have a "MALL Module"
But because you have a 91 you may have legacy systems like these:

Whats your fob look like? Black, 3 buttons, 2 on top and one down low? Rectangular?

0km. I replaced it, tried if keyless entry is working. Everything worked. Its my hobby/project car. After about 2 days I wanted to go for ride and keyless entry, interior illumination,..... didnt work. That BCM I have replaced was from PA which was left parked on garden for more than 15 years.

you dont have a BCM
you have a mall module
there is tests you can do for the inputs and outputs, I dont know the procedure its hard to find it online in my experience
can you get a FSM?

I think you have a issue with KAM possibly with it?

I saw this video some time ago, but I didnt find any part from this video in my both Park Aves. I know that my keyless receiver is inside both BCMs, There are circuits inside which I know they are for frequency receiving and there are also screws fow adjusting it. On one BCM, which is working but I cant pair keys from second BCM, there is also written "RECEIVER REMOTE CONTROL". I am sending you pictures of both BCMs and key remotes.

Multifunction Alarm Lock Lighting module
before the ISO standardizations of terms and things, around the OBD2 adoption times, that was Buicks name for a BCM. but its the thing you want to search for when it comes to service data.

Ok, lets say I have mall module, but you know what I am talking about. When I try to search on ebay, I only find parts which look like mine when I search for BCM. Now I tried search for mall module, I didnt find anything. I have found BCM/MALL module which looks like mine, but with only 2 connectors. The smaller blue 8 pin connector on right side. I tried test with only some connectors connected. I figured out that:

1. When only white 10 pin connector is connected, both 2 blue connectors are disconnected - interrior illumination, power seats,... are working, But Security warning light is all the time off, but I was ale to start car..... and also I can not even lock/unlock car with buttons on door panel.
2. When white and blue left 10 pin connectors are connected - Things from point 1. are working, but lock/unlock button is working, so this connector must be connected with door locks, and remote receiver....Security warning light wasnt working.
3. When all connectors are connected, everithing is working. But I cant pair remote keys, because keys are incompatibile or receiver inside BCM/MALL module is not working.
4. When I disconnected white connector - nothing was working, so this white connector must deliver power to all connectors.
5. When I am right and point 4. is true, my second BCM/MALL module, which worked for 2 days doesnt have power. I am planning to give it to my father´* friend (electrician) and he will check input from white connector. Maybe same diode, capacitor or something else is broken. The bad thing is, that one sideof board with SMD parts is sprayed with something like clear coat so its hard to check.

And I dont know what these "acronyms" like FSM and KAM mean. Can you explain me what does it mean, please? You know, I am not native English speaker
