Default Oil Pressure sensor (again)

Hey all,

When I got my Lesabre, the oil pressure sensor was bad. Always read 129psi. Pretty common problem I read. In February, I finally had it replaced. Used the AC Delco oem part. Now, 2 months later, the gauge is reading 129psi again. Is there something that could make a new sensor go bad? Did I just get a bad one? Should I maybe use a aftermarket replacement? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I haven't scanned it. The dash says 198 which is about normal for me.

Duh...Oil pressure should be available but might not be supported with some lower level scan tools. The Tech II will have it.
Thinking about it I'm not sure the PCM sees it.
Are you sure the wiring is OK? For it to fail the same way makes me think you temporarily corrected an issue with the wiring. I'd do some wiggling and see what you get.

Unplug the oil pressure sensor, if its full of oil, change it out.
