Would this scanner allow me to access the various diagnostic modes with my 2000 Lesabre? The Mitchell manual always has you hooking up a scanner to diagnose the A/C Heater, transmission or just about any other system on the car. Thanks.

This appears to be a Tech 2 clone, which have a history of mixed results depending on the manufacturer. If it operates and functions just as a genuine tech 2 does, it should work out fine.

Chinese knockoff Tech2'* are junk. They are not certified by GM, nor do they have the official software. And if you do come up with the money for the GM subscription, the GM software will reject the Tech2.

That'* a clone and you will be stuck with buying the clone software as it will not take the GM software. The clone and it'* software are far from OEM level.

Thanks all. Glad I asked. Are there any other options to interact with the various systems?
