Default Loss of electricals

So ive been working on my 1997 buick lesabre as a project, just dropped a donor motor in it. Went to turn on my switch(picture below) and the only thing that i can confirm that works is: my exteroir and interoir lights, my hazards, my power seat, my power mirrors, ac, and my obd2 port is getting power but getting a read error.

3 months ago when i soldered the new switch everything worked, i did clean and check all my fuses and relays(inside and out) and i get the same results

I can't figure out what is going on here. This is not where the ignition switch usually is. Any answer would be guesswork at best.

Could you tell us more about all changes that have been made to the vehicle?

The rod that actuates the switch broke so i moved the switch so i can actuate it manually. In the process i broke the switch, so i took the switch from my parts buick and soldered it in, but i tested after i soldered the switch, everything works. I did also try hooking the pcm and harness from the donor car but got nothing, so i hooked up the original and it worked. Fast forward 3 months and now it doesnt.

Why not replace the switch? Those rods from tumbler to switch are pretty stout. How did that get messed up?
