Default Left Turn signal not working(switch) ?

Ok, so my left turn signal doesnt work(blink), light comes on in dash. I have replaced bulbs, swapped bulbs from right side to left side. When I use my flashers the left side works. I am assuming then that it will end up being the turn signal switch itself in the column. My question is, is this a hard replacement? Ive read that remove a couple of screws from the plastic covering around the column, and then I will see another screw holding the half C turn signal switch in place, disconnect harness and thats all.

Has anyone done this or am i totally off base on how this is replaced ?

Thank you

I am thinking if it lights up on the dash the stalk should be ok...
I wonder if it could be a contact problem in the base/socket.
Try removing left bulbs inspect for base corrosion & ensure the bulbs are installed correctly... With left turn signal on, try jiggling or move each bulb and see if it flashes..
Hope this helps.

Well I am a bit embarrassed. It would appear that the bulb was in wrong. Ive been changing bulbs for 30 years and this is the FIRST time this has ever happened to me.

No worries man we all make simple mistakes. I troubleshot my computer for an hour once and it was unplugged.
