Is this the digital display in the middle of the instrument cluster? If so, its probably a resistor on the cluster that is falling off. I had a similar problem in my Century not too long ago.

the one that displays oil life, mpg, etc. is just below the rpm dial. driver info. the small one that shows outside temp and temp inside the car if you lower or raise it is in the middle. both act the same.

I edited my last post and put two videos in. In the second one, he mentiones where the resistor should be for the information centre. I think you have one that is getting loose.
After a little more digging through youtube, I found one that describes your exact problem and shows how to fix it.

You're welcome
I don't think it'll be too hard to fix, as long as you know how to solder. You should pich up some new resistors to replace them..just in case. Also, it wasn't mentioned in either video, but there should be a screw on the passenger side, under the fuse box cover that needs to be taken out to get the front piece off, and I found it easier to take off the bottom pieces of the dash, because of the lip on the piece you take out. good luck, and hopefully this is your problem.
