Default Instrument cluster interchange

Can anyone tell me or give me a website of what other GM cars may have used the same instrument cluster as the one in my 1989 Skylark. I just found out that the '91 I had been pulling from in a yard had been crushed. The cluster in it sure did look identical to the one I have to replace. Thanks.

You can go here Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market and input your car info, and look for the cluster, or some other part, and see what different models/years of cars the list comes up with.

I went to carpart.com and got a call from a place that said they had a speedo for me and asked me if I had a floor console. I said no. What are they asking for? If I have a gear shift on the floor or what? What'* a floor console?

I think some of the earlier models had a console in the front middle floorboard, and had the shifter there.

They're probably asking because if you have a column mounted shifter the gear indicator would be in the IP and if it'* a console mounted shifter there may only be a gear indicator in the console.
