is it possible that when I replaced the new mode door actuator that I moved one of the levers out of position? I will let you know when i take the new actuator off and test the levers to see if they are stuck, thank you also, when I replace the new actuator does the position of the levers have to be in a certain spot for them to work correctly?

After the repair pull the fuse(*) and allow it to relearn and it will be good.

I was able to remove the new actuator for the mode operation and checked the levers to see if any had become stuck, the lever for the floor was stiff, but the defrost and the mid are fine, i was thinking of using some silicone lubricant on the levers, good idea or not????

It'* probably that the duct work is twisted or warped but spray it and see if it helps. Check that the insulation around the door and ducts is not a problem.

I reinstalled the mode door actuator after I used some silicone lubricant and tested if there was a change, now the only flow of air comes out of the defrost only time to throw in the towel, I give up

Your head unit may be bad. Did you hear it work the doors when you did the reset?

not familiar with the head unit, where is that located? also I do believe I herd something, I am thinking that I need to find some one to fix , I am 69 years old and this is killing my back, I would like to know about the head unit and where it is, It might be more advantageous to take it to someone that has experience and the knowledge and tools to see if it is repairable, thank you very much for trying to help me,

I hope that I did not offend you with my comment about taking my car to a repair shop, I was trying to save myself some money by doing the repair myself, I sincerely appreciate your time and your effort in helping me get my car fixed but I have become too frustrated with the airflow to the proper vents, you are indeed very knowledgeable with lots of experience and a certified mechanic and hope that I did not hurt feelings, once again a big thank you for your help
