I would also try recharging before replacing the compressor.

This is the results from using 3 cans of freon, as you can see I gained a little on both the low side and the high side, the low side got close to 30 and the high side fluctuated between 125-150, I know that these readings may not be up to specs but I got cold air now, I will see how long this will last, I have also included some pictures
In this picture you can see i have gained some from the picture i had from a few days ago, in the picture from a few days ago the low side reading was only 25 and the high side was only 100, so there is some improvement

That doesn't seem like much of a gain for three cans.

Regarding the last picture, both sides will gradually equalize after the compressor stops.

I would evac the system and charge with the correct amount. We don't really know what'* going on by guessing.
