Default Gramps needs some parts

The completion of the rebuild of "gramps" is almost complete.
I need a part though (or idea for an alternative part).
The accelerator linkage end is black plastic. There is a pist on the under side of the trottle body that the linkage fits onto. The part I am looking for is that weird looking clip. it looks like an O clip with 2 teeth in the middle. it keeps the linkage on the post. Rock Auto doesn't have it, none of the local parts stores carry it, and I get a weird look when i bring the top clip in.
eBay doesn't carry it, although I DID score a set of valve cover bolts for $3! (I needed them too as every time one of the old ones gets tightened down they snap!)
You'll also be happy to know that I got a really nice torque wrench from Amazon for $15.00. Not to bad for DIGITAL!

SO.... Can anyone help me with this stupid clip? Seems the junk yards I went to either never had this set-up, or the clips have already been taken (!!)

The engine will be pressure washed this coming weekend, as debris has settled all over the engine and pullys. Also, I just want to make it look nice for the first time I fire it up. I plan on making a video of it.
Thanks!

Fuel & Air Carburetor Throttle Linkage Clip Parts | RockAuto

Is it one of thems? I haven't looked at the LN3 in a while, so I am not sure.

Jolly seems to be on it. If you don't want to wait for shipping, I'd have the salvage yard pull a list and location sheet on ALL Series 1 3800 engines (or have them lookup something specific to the Series 1, like the UIM), as I was looking for a (semi) related part on the throttle body not too long ago and found these clips on every Series 1 motor in the yard (part required pulling off the throttle cables). Beyond that, you could use my technique and just walk up and down every single GM aisle checking every old GM sedan RUTHLESSLY

I don't know if I could do that. 65-70 degree weather, and looking at cars thinking (I wonder if they still have this part....)
in the summer, forget it! 105 out at 8 am.
