FE1 Struts for 04 LeSabre
Hi, I am trying to find OEM front struts for my 04 LeSabre. I'd like to preserve the soft/floaty ride it has. Found struts GM Part# 22064781 on various retailers, but local dealer told me that it is not OEM, it is "generic" and it will be firmer than the OEMs. Now I am wondering, what is the correct part# for the FE1 suspension?

. . . is dictated by the springs. If you move your springs to the new struts then give the struts a couple hundred miles to break in, you'll probably be happy. If you swap for pre-loaded struts then no telling the firmness of springs. I'd suspect the new springs would be firmer if the chosen part number crosses to more-aggressive vehicles like a Bonneville.
