Do you know what the RPM was when that was recording? If it was normal 650ish, it was too fast for a rod knock.

Its really hard to say because I can't use my stereo hearing to pinpoint its location. I know what a rod knock sounds like and its too fast for one. I suggest taking it into a mechanic to at least tell you what it is.

Chantel, Like Mike said it is really hard to tell and it would be a good idea to take it to a shop that can have a quick listen to it,
Can you remove the plastic cover (series II),,turn the whole oil fill neck left and lift cover off and shoot another video with cover off and filler neck installed. It sounds like it is coming from around the filler neck area..is the neck on tight?

If that was at idle, i would pull the accessory belt off and see if the noise remains.

Sounds like your evaporative purge selonoid. Its located under the engine cover behind the oil fill tube.
