I wouldn't try to learn or memorize everything to figure this out. I'd pull all the fuses and then strategically add one fuse at a time and test one system at a time until problems crop up, then chase each problem in the diagram and in real life.
Nothing has yet explained the blown fuses nor the radio remaining on until dead while saying "phone" for unknown reasons.

the radio staying on until battery dies because of the onstar. I found a recall for it back in 2002, something to do with analog deactivation. It was something related to analog, I can’t remember the specifics. I just read about that yesterday. They stopped fixing the recalls in 2008 though. So now I will just have to pull the fuse or take the onstar module out.

Okay cool, then that is explained, but still nothing has explained the blown fuses.
Ok well today I tore the vehicle apart. Took out all seats, carpet and trunk lining. I found broken wires that were touching each other. I also inspected the RIM (rear integration module) and I found a burnt spot on the computer board/chip. The wires were connected to the onstar module. I think that’* what it was. I still have the wires that are under carpet to inspect yet. I will update more when I get back to it all tomorrow… fingers crossed!! I circled the device with broken wires that I think is the onstar
