yep, you got me, I didnt even catch that when I wrote it..lol anyway so back to the interior lights, I noticed the passenger rear door button went in farther than the other 3 before oping the door so I removed the door panel and checked the switch, with the latch open i get 0 conductivity on any of the 4 pins coming from the latch, with the latch closed i get conductivity. and because I dont have a wiring schematic or even a theory of operation Im not sure if that is good or bad, is the interior lamp module looking for open or closed circuit the harness in the door it plugs into has 3 wires instead of 4 like the switch has.

now for the light module, I found a schematic for it, and since I have the led indicators lighting up for the headlight and parking light switches when I turn them on tells me the ground is good and that circuit is completed through the module, and If I press the relays closed with my fingers the headlights and parking lights come on, so the grounds are good on that side, which leaves me to think the module is bad,

well looks like it is the module for the headlight problem., I robbed one off a 96 olds yesterday at the yard and even though it was a green instead of a brown and the inside was a bit different, the lights now work, only not with the headlight switch, I can control them with the twilight sentinal.lol but they work and I can get the car inspected when i get the new tank and pump in.

ok , today i got to thinking, I have a door ajar light on the dash, when any door is open it comes on when all are shut it goes off,.so i figured the door switches are good, so i went after the matts module, I got it out and removed the plugs , lights when out, so i took it out and was a bit rough opening it up, removed the board and plugged it back it and it worked like it was supposed too, I thought alright, so i took and reinstalled it into the case and plugged it back in and i work i was stoked , reinstalled all the under dash panels and tested it again, and it worked perfect , opened the door and closed it and then started the car and they never went out again, so i figure the relay on the board is sticking closed, also installed my new gas tank sender and pump and it fired right up , drives perfect.

well for the most part the interior lights are working like they are suppose too, sometimes they will just randomly turn on and then go back off, but most of the time they are now turning off. still need a headlight module though.

I unsoldered the resistor and ohmed it out and it ohms at 99 .6 ohms so its not the problem.
