Default Interior Lights

I got a problem. People tell me all the time that my interior lights are on. When i get outside they are off again. i didn't beleive people who were telling me this after a while, but one day i noticed that they were on. After watching my car for a while it seems that the interior lights come on and turn off every once in a while. It'* really annoying and luckily it hasn't drained the battery yet. Has anybody else had this problem? My shop teacher says its the timing control for the automatic locks. Any suggestions?

Hmmm....I'd be looking at the switch inside the outer door latch. When you lift your locked door handle, do the lights come on? If you have this option, that'* your most likely culprit.

I do have that option, and now that i think of it, my seatbelt got stuck in the door when i slammed it once or twice. I bet it cot screwed up. I'll check that. Thanks.
