Default Dilemma Park Ave Fuel pump

So fuel sending unit is busted...went to junk yard got a whole fuel pump, opened ol peggy up and its a different damn pump.....help me please! thanks

Not sure what to help with. Mistake was made somewhere in selecting the part.


And IMO, getting a junkyard pump is only asking for trouble 5, 50, 200, or 5000 miles down the road. Get a brand new one.

I really dont need the whole thing just the sending unit, just unsure of how to get it off

spray some wd40 in the quick connects for the fuel lines then take some pliers and carefully push in toward the sender with one hand then squeeze the white clips with the pliers and then pull the hose out should come loose fairly easy. then there is a ring you have to hammer off that holds the pump module down to the tank. lots of wd40 and patients
