I am not sure which lamp you are talking about......the interior lamps are considered courtesy lamps.....

Exactly which lamp are you talking about?

The lamp directly above the rear view mirror stays on, but the lights on the doors go off.

That I believe it is part of your overhead console, should be a switch for it.....sometimes it is the light itself....try pushing on it....

I have done all that. There are two buttons, neither are on. Also the diner switch that controls the head lights as well as the courtesy lights is also off.

Also I have taken the bulbs out of the dome light. I was looking for a permanent fix. I know it'* an electrical issue just not sure where exactly.

Your Ultra has so many lamps......4 reading lamps, a work lamp, vanity lamps, footwell lamps, door courtesy lamps, etc.

Funny thing is I can't find a diagram for the dome lamp.......there has to be a switch for it....check your owner'* manual.....

There could be a switch on the dash panel for this lamp; have you looked there. Usually the manual for the car will help locate switches.

I mentioned the dash because I once had a lamp staying on. I found out I had accidentally bump a switch on at the dash when fumbling for another switch.
