Correction
ar was smoking today even with the A/C on . This weekend I'll change the oil,the rear valve cover gasket and check the oil returns back there.

PCV ISSUES....PLEASE ADVISE
When I took off the upper intake to check for proper PCV tube position I noticed oil filling the left rear of the lower intake same as it was before I replaced the gaskets. Is this NORMAL? This is my fifth car with the 3800 SERIES 2 and I never had oil burning prior to this one.

it does because those 2 areas are recessed and the vacuum of the engine cant draw it in to be burned if you notice the whole lower intake has a oil film when you pull off the upper intake all 3800 do this its normal
