**** i forgot, front crank seal was wrong, wayyy too loose for the hole. Not gonna use original rope seal for that. I have to hunt the right part.. Rockauto front seal is wrong. Any part numbers??

You need the Timing Cover Seal right?
If so it is 1967-1976 All 400, 430 and 455 engines. TCS650 .................................................. ........$17.00 ea

This damn Corona **** has all "non essential" products taking forever to ship, it may not be essential to them, but I am sure it is to you!

Funny times. Summer is almost fully in progress and the buick engine is still in pieces because of that crank seal. Im gonna say **** it and assemble that engine with the original rope seal.
My friend will order the improved timing cover maybe next winter.. Im pretty pissed that this has gone like this

Do they give you any ETA?

The rope seal should be good if it isn't disintegrating etc. and if it fits the groove tightly.

Progress has been made!
This is a pic from couple days back. There is now also alternator, starter, carb, fuel pump, belt pulleys, wiring, engine mounts etc. I believe, if not tomorrow, next week i will start installing the power plant back to the car!! Im so happy this is over lol
