A rebuild like this, I wouldn't have even started it if the customer was going to be cheap on it. It'* like putting one good pad and one bad pad on a set of brakes. It'* absolutely mind blowing.
Yeah i know. But i wanted to learn and the owner is a good friend of mine so i did it anyway. And i found out that cracked piston later when the engine was completely disassembled.. Im not doing this for any money

Recommend replacing all pistons otherwise future engine damage will result.

So now, the end result is going to be, disappointment instead of accomplishment. The engine will fail, causing the rebuilder to think he had failed during the rebuild. The owner will certainly blame the rebuilder for the failure. In the long run, he will accomplish more by doing the right thing and declining doing the entire rebuild.

Yeah. but they will not blame me, i have made very clear that i am not the guy to be blamed.. But i have decided that i will measure piston carefully and compare, if there is big differences, i wont build the engine if i cant order new pistons..

Someone will learn something from this. :O

Weigh all of the pistons as well. They might measure the same while being way off on weight.

Soooo, i measured old piston and the compression height is the same as new piston. 1,947" was on the old and thats the same as rockauto'* piston. I will weigh them when i get the new one.
(I also made myself clear for the fourth time that i am not to blame for the explosion of the engine after rebuild)
I have learned alot already just by reading these forums. I will post pics when i get all the parts and get to reassemble.
I declared yesterday 3 packets from USA that are in Finland now. Pretty fast, i ordered everything 6 days ago
