When it comes to engine rebuilds, do it right, or not at all.
I would do it like that also but its not my decision. Im just rebuilding the engine, not paying for it..

If I were you, I wouldn't offer a warranty on an engine that someone was insisting I do something cheapskate like this on. Whatever drama the broken piston went through, the others went through almost as much. And also what Mike said:

I will make sure that the pistons are exact match. If not, i will ask again if i get the permission to order more pistons.

Do you have the other pistons out and cleaned up so you can weigh and measure?

I dont have new piston yet so i dont know the weight of it. I'm just gonna wait till i get the new piston and do the comparison. I have to press the pin out first and i dont have press available now. I have to wait to get back in to school were we have all the tools.
And no, im not 16, its my second school. I'm trying to change my career to cars. I was plumber I have worked on cars for about 13 years but this is my first v8

I'm quite sure you will find considerable weight difference between a new and used piston.

A rebuild like this, I wouldn't have even started it if the customer was going to be cheap on it. It'* like putting one good pad and one bad pad on a set of brakes. It'* absolutely mind blowing.
