Unhappy air ride not pumping-elc relay clicks non stop

ok so i know i have been clicking that new thread button a bit much lately but after sitting in my car for an hour waiting on someone this morning, i cant ignore this anymore lol. so basically the elc relay clicks non stop anytime the key is off. if its in acc or even if i unlock my car at night and the headlights and interior lights come on, it stops till the lights kick off then click click click. atleast 100 times per minute. its been doing this ever since i was driving down the highway during construction doing about 30 (construction zone) and when i had to merge back onto the normal flat highway a big *** chunk of concrete rolled onto the main road, and i got it between the tires but the car bottomed out on it under my feet. when i got home i turned off the car i hear click click click. the only thing that confuses me, is after not seeing any damage myself i took it to a shop where they had a lift and there weren't even dents in my car, just a slight scratch in the undercoat right under my feet, which i promptly sprayed with black paint.

anyway, i figured id give the whole story of the day this went bad. my compressor never kicks on, even if i put 3 bricks in one side of my trunk to make it sit crooked.

i was going to buy a relay, but i figured id post this here first. to see if anyone had any ideas.

here is a crappy cellphone video i made of the elc relay when i had to pop the back seat to bring home a 36" door lol. (trunk closed if you were wondering)

thanks alot!!

Sounds like a bad relay trying to engage or disengage. Swap out relays and see if that corrects the problem. You can test the relay as well. If that relay is sticking it could drain your battery.

yeah ill try to swap the same relay from my dads car. im paranoid about putting the wrong voltage relay or something cause i know nothing about them lol. as far as battery drain, this happened in may sometime and its been fine parked up to a week. im not sure if it just doesn't have draw, or if its because of the diehard gold but its never left me stranded.... yet lol.

If you have access to a known good relay, try swapping it. If the problem is still there, then it'* not the relay. If that'* the case then start checking your wiring. It'* possible that rock hit a wire and caused a small short.
