I found torque specs for grand prix'* caliper bolts, I think they are the same as yours, if so then it was 63 lb ft for the caliper pin torque, does that sound more like what you torqued them to?

WilliamE, have you ever seen any Tech, pull out a torque wrench when installing pads?

I must admit, in over 20 years, it was all be "feel"....

Nope, I myself have never used a torque wrench on them, never really felt the need to.
I just wanted to answer the question that was asked, in another thread yesterday I mentioned most just tighten till they feel tight, I forgot to mention that here as well.
