Apparently I had a not so bright moment, it had somewhat dawned on me the fact that the car was not sitting on a level driveway may be the culprit, but I did not give that a second thought.
I drove it today, parked it, and got out to see both rear struts sitting at the same height since I was on a level parking lot.
The problem with the noise from the strut mount when I'd grab it and move it, was from where I tightened that strut tower nut, I got it to spec, but it needed to go as little tighter since the strut could still move too freely within the strut mount, the torx bit part stripped on me, and I was not able to give the nut the extra turn and a half that would have snugged it up to the strut mount better, I'll just deal with it like it is till I need new struts again, I can go over bumps and hear no noise, and the back does not feel like there is any problem when I drive..

Yeah, I'm really glad it will not need replacing right away, I still have a list of things to do to the car.
I still have to replace the rear brakes, drums, wheel cylinders, and put all new brake fluid in it.
I have everything I need to do it, even the little GM tool to help remove the springs, I have just been procrastinating since every time I seem to do one thing I find three other things that need to be fixed also, lol
A blower motor replacement is on the list of things to do also, the one I have works, but the EVAP nipple on it broke, I also already have that sitting in a box waiting to be put on, the transmissions needs rebuilding, the list never ends.
