Default 95 riv intermitant stalling & no start

Looking for some help pleasze. My 95 riv has developed an intermitant problem that has baffled my local mechanics. The car will stall without any sign of trouble then not start back up. After the car stalls the security light will be on. The c,ar will turn over and has spark just wont start. Then after numerous attempts will start and run fine. Any help would be appreciated.

If it was the crank sensor he wouldn't have spark.

Almost sounds like it may be flooding..

Have they checked to see if any DTC codes are stored?

I recently had a similar issue, and I'm not yet 100% sure due to not having all the parts, but I'm pretty sure I had one injector that was becoming leaky.

Have they done a fuel pressure leak-down test, or pulled the fuel rail to see if any of the injectors are leaking?
If not a leaky injector I'm pretty sure the solenoids in the injectors can go bad from time to time, you have not gotten any misfire codes before have you?

If you are over 100k, and have the spare cash, then I'd consider getting the fuel injectors replaced anyway, but of course you may just want to have them verified as the culprit before doing so.
I assume they have checked fuel pressure at least?

You have not had any unusual coolant loss lately have you?

I would say it could have something to do with the security system, but if it is stalling though while running, then it should not have anything to do with the security system.

The link below may help explain PassKey II (VATS) just in case you ever need the info.

Oh yea, have they checked the fuel pressure regulator, pull the vacuum hose off the fuel pressure regulator and smell for gas, if you smell or see any gas in that vacuum hose then replace the fuel pressure regulator.
