You must have more talented fingers than I do to push down the spring plate and clip the snap ring back on the drum. I asked my son to help me but he just puts the clip in his mouth. He is 16mo old he should start figuring this stuff out!

Well Dad came and picked up the Buick today and it made it back to Oregon. I told him it had the 50/50 warranty, if it breaks in half he gets to keep both halfs! I'm glad to have my truck back.

Guess it'* the least I could do for them. If it weren't for them I wouldn't be here but man anything that could go wrong went wrong with this deal.

Thanks Michael, what was to be a quick, easy and cheap fix turned into a long, hard, and expensive project! If I had a time machine the transmission would have a SERTA sticker on the side of it!
