4t65e Internal/external neutral safety switch conversion

Read this Conversion.
Question is who has done this?
How does the backup lights work?
Did you just cut the wires going to the tranny and connect to new connector?
He posted only 1 wire to the 7 pin connector for ground?

BillBoost37 knows his stuff. I don't know of anyone who has done this though. Are you swapping a transmission in from a different make/model donor?

BillBoost37 hasn't posted since 2013. No swap. Just suspect neutral safety switch is bad and it'* an internal.

Agree, but I've read and followed a lot of his stuff and it'* good, regardless of when it'* written. It doesn't quite match what you are doing but it is informative all around what you're trying to do.
