UpDate: More FUN!!! Re P1811 Max Adapt long shift on 4T65E trans.
Yesterday I put the whole 16 oz can of SeaFoam Trans Tune in Fluid.
Link Trans Tune: http://www.seafoamsales.com/trans-tune.html
and drove mixed highway & city without any harsh up shifts occurring in a long time.
Sounds like a flush of varnish will be good, but am not going to leave it in for more than a week or so before......
It gets to a trans shop, I have no interest in doing this, no time & no lift, get a shift kit with new springs/spacers installed.
Recommendations on shift kit? Thrasher,TransGo etc etc...???
Then going to use Dexron VI (6) , LubeGArd Red and.....
Get a GVW 22,000 lb + cooler installed.
Hopefully that brings the 4T65E up to speed and ends the harsh BS upshifts.
& Dan wish you were here, we would get on this... (beers & steaks supplied)
Please leave your sledge at home though! ha ha...

Default TransGo SHift Kit Installed!!!

Finally got some lift time today. The transgo kit works as advertised!
No more harsh up shifts (so far) and job was relatively quick and painless.
It did require about 6.9 Lit (slowly adding) and driving with checks to get it to max line with ATF VI and including 300ml Lubegard red.
Here are a few photos, Total time 1.25 hours incl clean up!

Thanks to Dan for putting up with my PM'*, questions!
