I would say that you either have an issue with the timing cover fitting, the magnet on the cam, or the sensor, or the wiring. you admittidely had issues with wiring ,yes? The harness has ground under the bracket, is that good? you can buy it new the harness. but check that tension too. EMI is also a thing to be aware of. engine, body, grounds etc

Can the cam magnet lose its magnetism over time? When I replaced the timing chain it would sill stick to metal.
I had issues with the wiring but I would still rather get a new harness. Where would I get a new one?
The ground is good under the bracket I’ve checked that a couple times.

no that wont be your issue but Ive seen issues where the cam sensor wont seat cooperatively in the timing cover, and is your timing cover properly put on

I’m certain it is. I’ve done these before and the cover can’t really go on in a different way. And this issue started happening before I messed with anything on the car.

you should start sending pics of what is going on under your hood, show us that harness you worked on , show us stufff lol
