Default 2002 Century A/C

I have a 2002 Century. When I got it, the AC wasn't working.
I put 2 cans of 134a in it (24 ounces) and it is cold now.
A full charge is 36 ounces.
Should I add some more 134a? or, since it is cold now, just leave it alone?

Additional info:

When I added just 1 can, it did not improve the situation. Was not cold.
When I added the second, I heard a click, the compressor came on, and the vent blew out cold air.

I would leave it alone.....there probably was still refrigerant in the system, just not enough......If a small leak, it may last the rest of the summer....if a large leak, it could be gone in a matter of days......

Usual leaks are at the service valves, and at the compressor(front seal, or where the two halves join together).....but there are other places like the condenser, any joint, evaporator, etc.

Sorry for the late reply.
So far, so good. I'm leaving it alone.
