I have a 2002 Buick Regal with a 3.8l V6. It developed a coolant leak a while back and for the life of me can not determine for sure where the leak is coming from. Was some what thinking was upper intake, so replaced upper intake manifold and gaskets. Leak is on drivers side between oil pan and transmission. I put in some coolant dye and used a light and there are no leaks visible under hood. What is the likely hood that it would be a head gasket?? Talked to a service center and he said in the 3.8 never had any issues. Car has 116,000 miles. Any info would be great. Thanks for your time!!

Are they sure it'* not leaking out from the throttle body and then dripping down? There is quite a few things up top that can drip down that way.

Coolant dye should spot it.....
