Default 2001 Lesabre - P0172

Hi

Some of you know that I had a problem with my fuel pressure regulator (last thread).

Before the replacing of the FPR I replaced all the 6 fuel injectors . while the first drive the code P0172 shown . I reset it and it shown again ... before and after the fuel pressure regulator .
I think it related to the injectors replacing ..

What can I do ?

P0172 is too rich bank 1. Did you check your fuel pressure before you changed the regulator? What is the fuel pressure now? Were the injectors new or used?

I am going to say that my guess is this started after the injectors were replaced that your issue is the injectors are bigger flow rate than OE spec of 22lb if so that'* the problem any injector replacement flow change Requires ECM reprogramming

Okay so they're new. That'* good.

They claim they are OE spec and rigorously tested etc. I've personally never heard of this manufacturer.

I'd put the old injectors back on and see if the problem goes away.
