Default 2000 buick park ave

the compressor for the air shocks on the rear of my 2000 park ave cycles every 3 minutes while traveling down the road, especially if I have passengers in the back seat, these are new shocks because the bladder on the old shocks gave out so they needed to be replaced, anyone have some idea what it could be thanks

this is the compressor,I was able to take out the plastic lines that go to the shocks, I started the car and went to the compressor and put my finger over the holes to see if I GOT ANY AIR WHEN it came on, got no air when it came on, I let the car run for a long time and the compressor never did come back on but when its traveling down the road it cycles all the time, as you can see in the photo there is rust in the holes of the compressor, I assume its bad

I own a 2001 Ultra. The compressor is extremely costly
to replace. You might want to convert struts to non air
ride. Monroe makes conversion kit.

Since you have the new air struts on, you can add a kit to manually adjust the height by adding air via a schraeder valve.........

I am surprised the car is not bottoming out with passengers in the back.....

since I have put the lines back into the compressor and put the tires back on and let the car down from the jack stands, i took it for a drive and no more cycling of the compressor
