Hello all,

I'm new to this forum. Any advice/guidance provided would be greatly appreciated. I have a 1995 Bucik Regal Custom 3.8L that has a leaking master cylinder. I read that to replace it I need to use a Tech 1 sacan tool to relieve gear tension inside the abs module and that the master cylinder should not be removed from the abs module without doing this first. Is it really necessary if all I'm doing is putting on a new master cylinder? Is there a way around this procedure?, or some low cost way of doing it? Thanks all.
