1993 lesabre throttle body gasket replacement
Just bought a beautiful 93 lesabre limited
It needs the throttle body gasket replaced and also the the TPS throttle posit9n sensor replaced.
The local gm dealer quoted 1 hour labour to do this
Can I just did this myself...?.
Who on here has done this?
Thanks
Brad

The work involved is relatively straight forward. There is a bracket for the throttle linkages you will have to fiddle with, but once that is out of the way, the 3 bolts that hold the throttle body to the UIM are pretty apparent. I would replace the TPS once the throttle body is off, because otherwise it is at a very bad angle in the car that is hard to get any kind of tool on. Also make sure that the TPS arm is installed on the correct side of the throttle body arm.
What symptoms are you having that cause you to believe the above work is necessary?
