Throttle Body Gasket Source and Recommended TB Cleaner
I've decided to clean my throttle body on my 94SE with 125K but I have been unable to find a TB gasket at any auto parts chain like Advance Auto, Auto Zone, etc. Is this part that hard to come across and are there any other sources other than mail order?
Also, assuming I can find one - I know not to use std. carb cleaner. I've seen cleaners at Auto Zone and Advance that say for throttle bodies but they don't say MAF sensor safe or TB safe. They say safe for oxygen sensors and catalytic converters. Is this what I need or something else? I certainly don't want to ruin anything.
Thanks,
Mike

I'm surprised AutoZone was unable to help you... Have you checked their website?
funny you should say that. There is no listing in the GM book for the 93 gasket, the 92-93 L27 gasket is orange and it is rubber. I believe that in 94 they changed the gasket to paper. (or something like that)

Thanks for all the responses. I'll go back to these places and give them the Felpro number 61037. That'* what the various website pointed to. The O'Reilly'* guy asked me if my engine was an "L" engine. My VIN is 1G2HX52L4R#######. Does the "L" in the 8th position mean I have an "L" engine.
If anyone can confirm that the 61037 is the correct Felpro number for a 94SE, I'd sure appreciate some confirmation that I'm getting the right one.
