TPS sensor is not next to the crank, that is the CPS sensor.

If so, I would check MAP, alternator, and power steering. The MAP should throw a code, and I believe is 3 wire, so it'* probably not that. My money is alternator, and it'a not immediately apparent because the connector for it is pointing down to the bottom of the car, instead of staring you in the face.
