How about a modded SSEi and a modded Aurora? (Get that intake yet? )

There are not enough mods for the 4.0L NS

but...intake, exhaust, headers, high flow cat, better wires (NS has top of the line platinum plugs)

Start messing with internals...I dunno, I think the Northstar has a better chance of takin it...

Lets give one to Scott

actually the aftermarket for northstars puts l67'* to shame, easy 600hp NA, 1200hp w/ the twin turbo option. of course, these are only used in sand rail cars lol

pontiac claims a 6.5 0-60 for the gxp, can't wait for the motor trend review (only mag ill read) im guessing in the 6.4-6.6. for a ssei to match a gxp, i think all it will take is a 3.4, k&n and rockers, maybe some slight exhaust mods, probably not needed

for aurora vs ssei, I know i could take a stock 92-93, 94-95 would be a much closer race, with me probably having to play catch up.

here'* a question, which is faster, a 99 SSEI, or a 2000 SSEI??

Stock? I think a 99 is lighter so it might have a slight edge....

Not sure on the 99'* but the 00+ have 17 inch wheels also, requires a little more power to move them and might slow down the 0-60 some....

I've owned both and taken both to the track with minor mods. I would say the the ssei will win 1/4 mile. on the highway. norhtstar will pull away. I 've proven it, unless the L67 has rockers, than sorry northstar. I lost a highway race the other day to a STS sad to say. 80 plus start. Didn't beat me buy much but he did, And I be the old man who was driving it had it stock.

As for times My 96 Aurora non-autobaun with an Intake and proted throttle body ran a best of 15.6. My trip in the ssei with 3.4 and CAI was 14.7 enough said. Still lost to northstar on highway though. Need more mods, can't let that happen again.
The fastes STS was 96-97 and they ran a 14.7 stock

i believe a 99 would be quicker as well. Some of us would rather have an H over a G body as well..
