ok who would win in a race the ssei or the rora?
does anyone have the times for say like
0-60?
1/4?
or if a ssei and a rora both puched it on the interstate who would win?

it sure would be nice to have a V8 with DOHC and a supercharger, too bad though...

Stock SSEi is faster off the line...it has more tq but less HP, the Aurora would have to catch up (albeit quickly) and it (SSEi) will be passed.

Thats the advantage of DOHC

Jim, Why don't you head down to my neck of the woods and we cna do some "hands on" testing of this.

The 'Rora will beat an SSEi in top end most likely. The SSEi will have a good launch and some good strong points thru the speeds, but the Arora will also. I would expect a race that mimicked something like leap frog for the first 80mph. After 80 the v8 stamina and power my start to edge out over the SSEi.

Well that certainly begs the question...How will a stock/slightly modded SSEi fare against a 4.6L GXP with 3.71:1 gearing on a launch?

Gotta just wait and see, but I think the situation would be the same...SSEi faster off the line...DOHC Northstar will have it top end

Stoplight to stoplight, and SSEi would most likely win. On the freeway, the Aurora will own.

But the SSEi is being held back by torque management. A modded SSEi, will definetly take the aurora anywhere. A larger exhast for more top end, some rockers....
